Leather Skirt 3 Ways...

So I purchased a leather skirt a couple of weeks ago, thinking I'd wear it, but I haven't! I used to live in a leather skirt, it's all I went out in but then it got too small for me and I never bought a new one, until now. I have decided to actually challenge myself today and create 3 outfits using the leather skirt and see what I could come up with! I must admit I'm not the biggest fan of this leather skirt as it's a little too big for me so looks like I'll be needing another new one regardless!

The first outfit I decided to create was for a date night! I'm not one to ever wear heels but I wanted to include them in this look! I paired it with a gorgeous off shoulder body suit and a nice chunky belt to cinch in my waist and separate the top from the bottom! This could be perfect for a fancy date night or cocktails or whatever you may please!

The second look is far more casual, good for going to the park or just a casual day out! I put the skirt with a white Levi's t-shirt. The red brings a pop of colour to this look but just paired it with my Nike Air force and some white socks! This is super comfy, can put pretty much any T-shirt with this and throw a jumper over the top if it gets a bit chilly!

Lastly I did a look for going to gigs or something along those lines. It's not particularly dressed up but the boots make it seem less casual! I love this look because it's just very me, I love my Doc martens and think they're the perfect shoe for a leather skirt!

It was super fun to go through my wardrobe and create some looks out of clothes I already own and perhaps don't wear enough of. A leather skirt is such a staple piece and I've given myself a few more ideas when it comes to styling this kind of skirt. The last look I'd say is the one that felt most me and most comfortable in whereas the date night look is very out of my comfort zone- probably due to the heels! None the less I love all the looks and hope I've inspired not only myself but you too!
